It is with heavy hearts that we have to announce the loss of Neil and Paul from the band.     It is a great shame, not only because this was such a great band, but it felt like a family to us.     We also feel the band hadn't fulfilled it's potential and we were starting to make some real progress.     But the time we did have together has been fantastic and we will all look back on this original, Mk I line-up of the band with great affection.

The remaining members are not ready to give up on Taste Of Purple just yet and will start auditioning for a new guitarist and keyboard player, not only for Taste Of Purple, but also for a new, more diverse project which will include original material.     Please click on the links to register your interest in joining us on the next stage of our journey.

We imagine there will be long spells of silence over the coming months - when we find the right members for both bands we will be busy rehearsing material, new and old, to be gig ready at the earliest opportunity - but we will keep you abreast of developments, as and when they occur, on this site.

We'd like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your support and kind words (some of which are posted here) over the last few years.     We hope that we can continue to rock your socks off with Taste Of Purple Mk II and the new band in the near future!
